In March, 16 team members from PARR’s Central Oregon locations came together to give back through a hands-on community service project benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & Southwest Washington in Bend.
Employees representing PARR Lumber Bend, PARR Door & Millwork Redmond, PARR Truss Redmond, and Parr Lumber Prineville dedicated their time and effort to improving the outdoor spaces for families staying at the house. The volunteer team completed a wide range of projects, including repairing a children’s play structure, pressure-washing the back patio, rock walls, and patio furniture, removing trees, and completing general landscaping work.
In total, the team removed more than 20 large construction bags of yard debris—helping create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for families in need of comfort and support during difficult times.
Together, the group contributed 56 hours of volunteer labor, reinforcing PARR’s commitment to community involvement and giving back to the regions where we live and work.
At PARR, we believe in building stronger communities—not just through our products and services, but through volunteerism and partnerships with organizations like the Ronald McDonald House in Bend. Projects like this reflect our core value of teamwork and our dedication to making a positive, lasting impact.
