1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that this event involves the use of power tools and that improper use or unforeseen accidents may result in injury. I also understand that alcoholic beverages (wine) will be available for consumption, which can impair judgment and coordination. I voluntarily participate in this event with full knowledge of the risks involved.
2. Tool Safety
I agree to:
- Follow all instructions provided by event staff or facilitators.
- Use all tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Immediately stop using any equipment if I feel unsafe or unsure.
- Not use any power tools if I am under the influence of alcohol.
3. Alcohol Consumption
I understand that:
- Alcohol will be available for optional consumption.
- I am responsible for monitoring my own alcohol intake and will not operate tools while under the influence.
- If I choose to consume alcohol, I do so at my own risk.
4. Release of Liability
I hereby release and hold harmless the event organizers, hosts, sponsors, venue, and all associated personnel from any and all liability for injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from:
- My participation in the event.
- My use or misuse of power tools.
- My consumption of alcohol.
5. Medical Treatment
In the event of injury or medical emergency, I authorize event personnel to obtain medical assistance as needed. I agree to bear any costs incurred for such treatment.
6. Photo/Media Release
I grant permission for my image or likeness to be used in photographs or videos taken at the event for social and promotional purposes, unless I notify the event organizer at Events@parr.com with the subject line: DO NOT PUBLISH MY PHOTO
