Today we are sharing a simple plan for building a small planter box from two cedar boards. It’s easy to build and is something that can be built quickly. In addition to the two cedar boards, all you need is a hammer (or a power nailer), some 5d galvanized nails and a miter saw. Because the planter is made with cedar, it will last for years. And the best part? It costs less than $10 to build.

It’s Earth Day. Today there are events all around the world focusing on our planet and how to be more green. We all need to do our part to help preserve our environment for our children and their kids. Being the outstanding person you are, we at Parr know that you also want to help save the Earth for future generations. One way you can help is by looking for green labels and certifications. There are no such things as Earth Day labels, but there are many eco-friendly products with labels or certifications for Energy Star, Greenguard, Green Seal, SCS, SFI, and EPA WaterSense.
